Robau and Associates LLC, is well known for our expertise in the water resources specialty area of civil engineering and our knowledge of regulations. Our experience includes working for the state, and local governments in the development of stormwater infrastructure master plans, and in implementing water resource projects that serve the communities they govern.
We have assisted in the development of stormwater management regulations for local municipalities. We work both sides of the regulatory spectrum by assisting local governments in the development of regulation as well as guiding developers in navigating through the regulatory path that results in designs that are acceptable to all stakeholders.
We are uniquely qualified to assist in achieving our Client’s project goals through our understanding of the regulatory process and how to achieve a successful permit outcome.
We understand both the regulators and the private/municipal land owner’s concerns related to the water resource and environmental impacts of development, and public infrastructure projects. Our experience in stormwater management, community, and watershed hydrodynamic modeling is extensive, and spans over decades of serving Southwest Florida, and surrounding areas. We understand our climate, subsurface conditions, natural systems, local construction, and design practices, and are uniquely capable of providing our Clients the expertise necessary to design, and permit technically challenging water resource related work.
Our large master-planned community water management system designs complement our government sponsored public infrastructure projects. We have extensive experience in the master planning, and development of large water management systems that are designed to emulate natural drainage patterns, are sensitive to our nationally significant environmental concerns, and result in the long-term successful treatment of stormwater discharges. We are experts at providing water management system designs for wetland restoration and mitigation.
Our team can put together a complete package for water resource design related to private or public sector client needs. We understand and know how to direct and manage the team that designs all the water resource infrastructure necessary to accommodate human habitation while maintaining a goal of no adverse impact to the environment and receiving water bodies.
